31 AUG 2011: This story comes with a warning. If you’re a nervous flyer you might just want to skip right ahead. As planes become ever more reliant on automation to navigate crowded skies, safety officials worry there will be more deadly accidents traced to pilots who have lost their hands-on instincts in the air.
31 AUG 2011: Travel Leaders has revealed the results from its yearly Fall Travel Trends Survey. 26 AUG 2011: Earlier this week we wrote about the Canadian Medical Association voting in favour of a ban on all pets in aircraft cabins. Air Canada at the time said they had a strong customer demand and strict regulations, so didn’t seem in the least inclined to change their policy mid-flight as it were. Now Westjet has also flown to the rescue announcing it has no interest in banning precious pets from their planes.
