14 FEB 2012: I admit I don’t get it. This edifice height thing. Taller. Longer. Big. Bigger. Biggest. High. Higher. Highest. Dubai of course has it in spades. Now, it is building its second JW Marriott luxury hotel which will be the world's tallest hotel-only building when it opens in the fourth quarter of 2012.
14 FEB 2012: Qantas Airways has downplayed a steering issue that forced two departures of an Airbus A380 to be abandoned prior to taking off from London's Heathrow Airport. The problem said the airline was unrelated to wing cracks that have necessitated global checks on the superjumbo.
