The fleet of four ships will cover 130,000 nautical miles.
When the Azura sails on her maiden voyage to Australia in February 2013, she will be P & O’s largest ship on a world cruise, checking in at 115,000 tons.
P&O Cruises Managing Director Carol Marlow said the Azura is suitable for a world voyage with her generous amenities and stated that “Many of our passengers will be excited to hear that she will be offering her maiden world cruise so soon after entering service.”
The sisters Arcadia and Aurora will visit Australia and New Zealand on their world voyage and Adonia will sail on a South American exploration.
